The New Atlantis

Geology.com has a cool widget that allows you to dial in certain amounts of sea-level rise and see what happens. So, lets look at Miami, Florida over the next few centuries:

Miami, 2013 (click to enlarge):

Miami, 2100:

Miami, 2200:

Miami, after 400ppm CO2 has run its course:

The cool thing about this app is that it lets you zoom in to anywhere in the world and run the same experiment. Try it out!
