C. V. Danes is a noted curmudgeon, questioner, pontificator, armchair philosopher, expositor of dubious ideas, and otherwise notorious member of the peanut gallery. He is not to be taken seriously, no matter how seriously he may take himself. WARNING: his commentary has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Consume at your own risk. Side effects may include unexplained daydreaming, aimless wandering, ranting and pulling of hair, an immediate urge to engage in rash commenting, and other signs of antisocial behavior. Consult with a psychiatrist if symptoms persist.

  1. I am writing to you on behalf on the Scottish Climate & Energy Forum, we are conducting a survey of those interesting in the climate debate which should be of interest to all involved.

Both “sides” are at times frustrated by their inability to make the other side understand their point of view which can lead to ill feeling. Therefore the aim of the survey is to try to understand the backgrounds of those interested in the climate debate online as we feel better understanding will help everyone.

The main focus is on the education and work experience of participants, but it will also assess employment and social factors for their relationship with views on climate.

We would be very grateful if you would take the time to complete the survey and publicise it on your blog. The responses are confidential.
